| Bio: | Eclectic and obsessive is a powerful mix. Depending on when you examine my journal, you may find me musing on Victorian history, writing, the ways of fandom, Star Trek, X-Files, NASA, vidding, politics, Wikipedia, or Oxford life. I'm a life-long Democrat and occasional political activist; a feminist; and an agnostic with a deep interest in religious topics. I welcome discussion and debate on all issues brought up in my LJ, as long as it's constructive and respectful.
Depending on when you friended me, you may find that I have moved on to some topic in which you have no interest whatsoever. Rest assured, I will probably come around again, although it may take a few years. In the mean time, feel free to friend and defriend at will. Introducing yourself is appreciated but not necessary. My own policy is that I friend people whose journals I read regularly and I never filter my flist. If you are on it, I am reading your posts. If you are not on it, I am probably still reading your posts, just less often.
